Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is all set to be launched on January 7 in India. Microsoft has started sending out invites to the media to attend their launch event that will be held in New Delhi.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is powered by Intel’s 6th-generation Core processors which are coupled with RAM ranging from 4GB for the base model to all the way up to 16GB for higher models.
The Surface Pro 4 boasts off a 12.3-inch PixelTouch display having a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels which is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Microsoft, during the launch event claimed that the Surface Pro 4 is 30 percent faster than its predecessor Surface Pro 3, and, 50 percent faster than the MacBook Air.
The Surface Pro 4 comes equipped with a USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader, a 3.5-mm headset jack, a Mini DisplayPort, a Type Cover port, and a SurfaceConnect port. The storage on the Pro 4 starts with 128GB for the base model which extends to a massive 1 Terabyte of SSD storage. Microsoft also claims that the Surface Pro 4 will offer a battery life of up to 9 hours.
It’s worth noting that the Surface Pro 4 comes with only Surface Pen and you will have to shell out extra bucks if you want to use the Surface Pro 4 Type Cover, Fingerprint Reader Keyboard, or the Surface Dock which provides you 2 Mini DisplayPorts, 1 Audio out port, 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and 4 USB 3.0 ports.
