While the Lumia 630 phones were very popular, Microsoft has now unveiled the Microsoft Lumia 640 at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
Microsoft has announced the launch of the Microsoft Lumia 640 and the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL, which are the company’s latest affordable phablet offering. The Lumia 640 has a 5 inch display whereas the Lumia 640 XL has a slightly bigger 5.7 inch display, both with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the mid-range 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Microsoft Lumia 640 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with 28mm f/2.2 lens and LED flash. There is also a front facing 1 MP camera. The Lumia 640 XL on the other hand has a massive 13 MP rear facing camera with a front facing 5 MP fixed focus camera. The devices runs on the latest Windows Phone version and would support Windows 10 when it is eventually released.
