While the mid-range Lumia smartphones seem to be picking up, especially in the upcoming markets like India, Microsoft has now launched the Microsoft Lumia 540.
Microsoft has announced the launch of the Microsoft Lumia 540, which is successor to the Lumia 535. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Microsoft Lumia 540 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with wide angle lens. The device runs on latest Windows Phone 8.1 version with the Lumia Denim update. The handset is priced at $149 and is available in cyan, orange, white and black colour options. It is expected to be launched in India early next month.
