After various rumors and leaks, Microsoft has finally gone ahead and unveiled the Microsoft Lumia 435. The device comes in both single SIM and dual SIM versions.
The Lumia 435 is another foray of Microsoft into the ultra affordable smartphone segment and for its price, the 435 features some decent specs. The Lumia 453 comes with a 4-inch WVGA (800x480p) LCD display and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor.
The device comes with 1 GB RAM effectively making the Lumia 635 feel obsolete. There’s 8 GB internal storage along with microSD expansion up to 128 GB.
Microsoft had to cut corners and they have done that with the camera on the device. The primary camera is a 2 MP fixed focus snapper and a VGA camera graces the front. The smartphone comes with a 1560 mAh battery and Windows Phone 8.1 runs the show along with the Lumia Denim update and the Lumia exclusive apps. The connectivity options are well covered with 3G, A-GPS and GLONASS, WiFi, Bluetooth.
The Lumia 435 will be available in four color options: bright orange, bright green and the usual black and white. The device will go on sale in February in select countries including Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, the Middle East and Africa. It will cost around 69 Euros (~ Rs. 5,000).
