With 4G services just entering the country, many local manufacturers are trying to make their own smartphones which support 4G LTE.
According to sources, Micromax is currently working on the company’s first LTE-enabled smartphone. Interestingly, the handset is said to be powered by the quad core NVIDIA Tegra 4i processor which is clocked at 1.7 GHz along with the NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU which has 60 cores. Also expected in 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
Based on the press renders leaked of the alleged LTE smartphone from Micromax, we can expect a 4.7 inch HD display. The phone would also have an 8 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 2 MP camera. While there is no word about the pricing or launch, sources expect an announcement in June.
