Micromax officially launches A110 Superfone Canvas 2 & A90S Superfone Pixel in India

We knew they were coming soon and here they are. Micromax has now officially announced the launch of a couple of Android smartphones in the Indian subcontinent.

The new devices are the Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 and Micromax A90S Superfone Pixel and are the successor of A100 Superfone Canvas and A90 Superfone Pixel.

First, the Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 arrives with a 5-inch screen and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. The large screen smartphone is 3G enabled comes with the following specifications:
  • 5-inch IPS display
  • Display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels
  • 1 GHz dual-core processor
  • 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 4 GB internal memory
  • Memory expandable to 32GB
  • 3G, Bluetooth 3.0
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS
  • Dual SIM
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS
  • 2000 mAh battery

Next is the Micromax A90S Superfone Pixel which packs in a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display which gives a great viewing experience on the smartphone and comes with 4 GB internal memory. the A90S goes on to arrive with:

  • 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display
  • Display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels
  • 1 GHz dual-core processor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 8 MP camera with Flash
  • 0.3 MP VGA Front facing camera
  • 4 GB internal storage
  • Expandable to 32 GB
  • Dual SIM with Dual-standby
  • Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • 3G connectivity
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • 1600 mAh battery

Micromax has priced the Superfone Canvas 2 at Rs.9990 and the A90S Superfone Pixel at Rs.12,990. Both the smartphones will be available in Black and White colour options across all leading stores all over the country.
