Micromax has announced a new smartphone in its Superfone range of handsets. The A45 Superfone Punk is a music centered smartphone by the company running on Android.
The A45 is said to be ideal for people who want to quickly and easily access, share and listen to a huge selection of media. To boost the music experience, the handset comes with a nice pair headphones instead of the usual earphones.
The Micromax A45 Punk runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) with a 650 MHz processor, a 3.5 inch full touch capacitive screen with a screen resolution of 320 X 480, a 2MP camera, FM Radio, expandable memory, and comes pre-loaded with Micromax’s very own voice assistant AISHA which made its debut with A50 Superfone Ninja. The phone has a 1300mAh Li-ion battery and will be coming in black and white colour options.
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,499 and will be promoted on air and shop-front through a tie-up with the latest Rihanna album, Talk that Talk released on Universal music.
