With the increasing demand for slim and light-weight smartphones, Micromax has launched the new Micromax Canvas Sliver 5.
Micromax has announced the launch of the Micromax Canvas Sliver 5, which is touted to be the slimmest phone measuring just 5.1 mm end-to-end and also the lightest phone weighing 97 grams with aircraft grade aluminium body. The device has a 4.8 inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 4G LTE support, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 has a massive 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX219 stacked CMS sensor, OIS, f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2000 mAh battery. The handset priced at Rs. 17999 and would be available in Black and Gold variants and would go on sale in the first week of July.
