Micromax, like most of the other Indian handset makers, has been focusing on the affordable market segment. Now the company seems to be ready with yet another smartphone – the Micromax Canvas Duet AE90.
The Micromax Canvas Duet AE90, which seems to be company’s upcoming budget smartphone, is currently available with online retailer InfiBeam. The device has a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The memory can also be expanded using microSD cards.
The Micromax Canvas Duet AE90 is equipped with a rear facing 5 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean with an 1800 mAh battery. It also has dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) support 3G connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 8999 and is expected to be officially announced early next month.
