With the increasing demand for low cost Android smartphones, all the manufacturers, especially the Indian ones, are focussing on providing a decent handset at a very affordable price. Micromax seems to be ready with one such handset – the Micromax Bolt A66.
The specs and even the pricing of the Micromax Bolt A66 has just leaked. The device, which would have dual SIM support, would sport a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1 GHz single core processor along with a mere 512 MB of RAM and just 165 MB of internal storage. But we can expect the internal storage to be expanded up to 32 GB using microSD cards.
The Micromax Bolt A66 would have a very small 2 MP rear facing camera and would also have a VGA front facing camera. Despite most of the specs being very low, the smartphone would run on the Android Jelly Bean OS with 1500 mAh battery. The handset is expected to be priced at Rs. 5999 and could be released by next week.
