While we have seen the smartphone prices dropping lower and lower due to the explosive nature of the Indian smartphone market, Micromax seems to be getting ready to add more fuel to the fire with its upcoming smartphone.
Micromax is all set to announce its latest smartphone at a grand press event scheduled for later today. While the company hasn’t mentioned any details about the smartphone, the invite shows a cryptic message, “Divide no more, Now everyone can”. The message definitely hints towards an affordable smartphone.
While there is nothing much to say about the upcoming handset, the invite shows that it sports a leather back, which means it could also be premium device with a very low price. Further, this phone is expected to be available exclusively through Snapdeal immediately after the launch. While Android One did pop-up in our minds, it is highly unlikely that this could be one of them.
