Micromax has been in news this year for releasing new smartphones one after the other and it seems like this isn’t stopping soon. Just last week, the Micromax A89 Ninja appeared online for about Rs.6299 and Micromax plans to add another entry-level Android smartphone called the Micromax A27 Ninja to the portfolio.
The 2G dual SIM phone is more dedicated to seamless sharing with a new Swipe n Share feature which allows users to share files, videos, songs and even apps between Android devices with just a swipe. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz Spreadtrum processor and runs on Android Gingerbread.
The processor is supported by a mere 256 MB RAM and just 160 MB internal memory to store your files. The memory can be expanded up to 16 GB. The 3.5 inch display backs a 320 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled. The 1400 mAh battery promises a standby time of 260 hours.
Specification of Micromax A27 Ninja:
- 3.5 inch TFT display
- 320 x 480 pixels resolution
- 1 GHz Spreadtrum processor
- 256 MB RAM
- 2G Dual SIM
- Android version 2.3 Gingerbread
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth enabled
- 1400 mAh battery
Like most other Ninja phones, the A27 too has specs which are quite outdated like the 256 MB RAM and just 160 MB of internal memory. Even the 2.3 version of the Android OS is very much outdated but the focus of Micromax seems to be on capturing the low-end market and have a better reach with affordable handsets.
We are yet to hear about the smartphone officially from Micromax and we expect it to happen in the coming few days.
