While we have been hearing reports suggesting that the upcoming Meizu PRO 6 would be a power house, MediaTek has confirmed that it would offer a special processor exclusively for the flagship.
MediaTek has announced that the Meizu PRO 6 would be exclusively powered by the deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor. The MediaTek Vice President, Jeffrey Ju revealed that the processor will only be used in the Meizu flagship (at least for the first few months). However, the expected announcement date is yet to be revealed.
The MediaTek Helio X25 processor would be an optimized variant of the Helio X20 that would use four power efficient ARM Cortex A53 cores, another four Cortex A53 cores and two Cortex A72 performance cores. It has 780MHz Mali-T880MP4 GPU and supports up to 25 MP camera sensors. We are eager to see what performance improvements the processor can offer on the Meizu PRO 6.
