While Meizu had shared plans on entering the Indian smartphone market, the company has now officially announced its entry with the Meizu N1 Note.
Meizu, the Chinese smartphone vendor, has announced that it has begun operations in India. The company has launched the Meizu N1 Note to begin with. The handset would be available for sale exclusively with Amazon India from May 20 from 2 p.m. However, unlike the regular modus operandi, Meizu has not adopted the flash sales model and hence would make the handset available to all on a first come first serve basis till stocks last.
Surprisingly, Meizu hasn’t yet revealed the pricing of the Meizu N1 Note in India. But given the competition, we can expect it to be priced very competitively. Sources in the know have claimed that the company would price the device in the Rs. 10000 range. With another smartphone vendor entering the Indian market, the competition is set to intensify. Tomorrow Nubia is expected to join the bandwagon.
