After several leaks and teasers, Meizu has finally launched its new flagship smartphone offering – the Meizu MX6.
Meizu has announced the launch of the Meizu MX6, which is the company’s latest flagship offering with a full metal body with magnesium alloy frame and USB Type-C port. The device has a fingerprint scanner embedded into the Home button which uses the mTouch 2.1 fingerprint recognition technology that can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds for payments using Alipay and WeChat.
The Meizu MX6 has a 5.5 inch LCD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 2.3 GHz deca core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Meizu MX6 has a 12 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 3060 mAh battery capable of fast charging. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The handset is priced at 1999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 20000) and is available in Gray, Silver, Gold and Pink colour options.
