While we have been hearing quite a few rumours about the budget Meizu m3, few more details about the handset have now surfaced.
According to sources, the metallic variant of the Meizu m3 will be announced in June. While the company has not yet scheduled any launch event, the source claims that the announcement would be made on June 13. Surprisingly, the handset is expected to be powered by the regular Android 5.1 Lollipop version instead of the company’s proprietary YunOS.
Based on earlier rumours, the new Meizu m3 would flaunt the same design as the regular version but with a full metallic build. The device is said to sport a 5 inch HD display and would be available in two variants – a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage variant and the other with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Also expected is a 13 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 5 MP camera.
