Exactly a week ago, we told you that Moto Z and Moto G4 series smartphones will soon be receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update. While we didn’t have any information about the Nougat update for other Motorola smartphones at that time, the company has now published a list of smartphones that will receive the Nougat update.
The Nougat update will bring features like multi-window, improved Doze, notification controls and more to the smartphones. The first Motorola smartphones that will be receiving the Nougat update are Moto Z and Moto G (4th Gen). The update will start rolling in Q4. Well, given the fact that we are already in Q4 of this year, owners of Moto Z and Moto G (4th Gen) should receive the Nougat update soon.

- Moto Z

- Moto Z Force Droid
- Moto Z Play
- Moto Z Play Droid
- Nexus 6
Motorola hasn’t provided any exact date as to when the Nougat update will be rolled out for other smartphones, however, we expect the update to be rolled out to all the phones listed above before the end of this year.
