With IM and VoIP services taking over the telecom sector, LINE, which is well known for its messaging services, has launched a new calling service.
LINE has announced the launch of LINE Premium Call for Android and iOS devices. This service can be used to make calls to landlines and mobile devices to over 200 countries. It also has enhanced voice quality which offers seamless voice quality thus allowing for long duration calls.
Being a premium service, call made are charged nominally but the cost-per-minute of a call is also automatically displayed on the dialling screen, so that users know how much they are being charged. Calls to Landline & Mobile Phone in India costs Rs. 1.22 per min or 2 call credits.
