LG has made it big by announcing that it will unveil its first all metal luxury Android Wear device, LG Watch Urbane at Mobile World Congress 2015. LG Watch Urbane is for those who want a sophisticated, elegant and a technology driven smart watch.
LG Watch Urbane borrows its design cues from the recently launched LG Watch R. It possesses a 1.3 inch full circle P-OLED display which is similar to LG Watch R but features a narrower bezel. Its stainless steel body will be available in polished silver and gold finish. The stainless steel body will be coupled with a stitched natural leather strap which can be replaced with any 22mm wide band by the user.
“The LG Watch Urbane’s classic design and smart features make it the perfect smartwatch to complement our G Watch and G Watch R, which were designed as more casual and active devices,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “LG Watch Urbane is an important part of our strategy to develop wearable devices that are worn and viewed as everyday accessories, not electronic gadgets.”
