While the Android wearable market is just picking up, LG has now launched the limited edition LG Watch Urbane Luxe.
LG has announced the LG Watch Urbane Luxe, which is the company’s latest limited edition luxury Android Wear smart watch flaunting a 23-karat gold body. While the watch has the same design as the LG Watch Urbane, it sports a premium handcrafted alligator leather strap with a deployment clasp for a fitted, elegant look. The watch comes in an exclusive piano-gloss lacquer case.
The LG Watch Urbane Luxe has a 1.3 inch P-OLED display with resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. The watch is powered by the Snapdragon 400 processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal memory. The company claims that the 23-karat gold used in the LG Watch Urbane Luxe is stronger and harder than the 24-karat gold used in jewellery and heavier than the 18-karat gold used in traditional luxury watches. There would be just 500 limited edition watches engraved with its own serial number for authenticity each priced at $1200 (approx. Rs. 80000).
