After launching the upgraded Optimus L series, LG launched three new smartphones in the series at the Mobile World Congress. Now the company has launched the first entry-level smartphone in the series.
The LG Optimus L1 II has a 3 inch display with a very low resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The device is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon MSM7225A processor along with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. The device has a very small 2 MP camera which is capable of shooting VGA videos.
The LG Optimus L1 II runs on the Android v4.1 with a host of LG software’s like QuickMemo and Cheese Shutter. With the increasing sales of the original L series, the company has high hopes on the L II series as well and is currently targeting the emerging markets and the budget-conscious customers. The device is priced at a low $94.
