Last week LG went on to announce the launch of the LG Optimus G Pro with a 5.5-inch full-HD display and today the company has announced the 4G-enabled device in Korea and will be available this week. The Japanese version of the LG Optimus G Pro arrives with a 5-inch full-HD display.
The 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display arrives with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and gives a pixel density of 400ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core S4 Pro processor coupled with 2 GB RAM.
The Optimus G Pro also comes with advanced UX features developed specifically for the device, such as Dual Recording and Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama. Dual Recording allows users to capture video with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously for a unique picture-in-picture experience.
The VR Panorama allows shots of entire horizontal and vertical environments for a full 360 degree view. Creative and innovative UX features popular with Optimus G users have been added to the Optimus G Pro, such as an upgraded QSlide, Live Zooming and QuickMemo.
The LG Optimus G Pro will be on display at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 in Barcelona at the end of the month.
