After initially reporting the probable specs of the upcoming LG Optimus G Pro, we now have the confirmed details thanks to Japan’s local carrier NTT DoCoMo which has revealed the details about the launch of the device somewhere in April in the country.
The device announced by NTT DoCoMo goes on to fully match the leaked specs which we reported earlier and the smartphone arrives with 5-inch full-HD display, a first from LG and is the first With the 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with 2 GB of RAM making this smartphone powerful beast.
The powerful 3000mAh battery will ensure a long and heavy usage of the phone without running out of power. Sadly, the smartphone is not arriving with the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update but will have to be content with the Jelly Bean 4.1 OS out-of-the-box. Despite a 32 GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot has been provided for expansion.

And despite the snazzy specs, the price of the device will decide the actual market share of the LG Optimus Pro G. With so many 5 inch full-HD devices already existing, this may also become just another smartphone.
