After unveiling its new Optimus F series at the Mobile World Congress, LG will release the first device of this series in France today. LG will roll out the Optimus F5 in South and Central America, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) over the next several weeks.
The LG Optimus F5 has a 4.3-inch IPS display which offers clear, lifelike images for a superior viewing experience. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Android Jelly Bean powered LG Optimus F5 is 4G LTE enabled to give customers 4G internet speeds without the high costs that normally go with such devices. The smartphone has some LG exclusive features. Users can open multiple apps at the same time in full screen mode with the ability to change the size, position and transparency of the windows using the QSlide. Also videos can be zoomed in to get a detailed picture using Live Zooming. There is also a QTranslator, which not only translates words but also sentences. QTranslator accepts 44 different languages and can translate them into any one of 64 languages.
