With the advent of touchscreen smartphones, QWERTY devices are becoming extinct. LG, however, seems to be trying to keep the trend alive with a full QWERTY keyboard smartphone.
According to sources, LG is close to launching the LG Optimus F3Q, which is an Android smartphone having a full sliding QWERTY keyboard. Overall the design of the handset is more like the LG Optimus series. The device has a small 4 inch display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor.
The LG Optimus F3Q is equipped with a 5 MP rear facing camera. While LG has started working with the latest Android v4.4, this device would run on the Android v4.1.2. Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, the device is expected to launch on January 22. Pricing and international availability hasn’t been revealed yet.
