LG has announced that its first quad-core smartphone, the Optimus 4X HD, is now available in Europe. The handset was unveiled and shown-off at the MWC 2012 and now it will finally be hitting the major European markets including Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom and Italy.
Other countries along with Asia, CIS, South and Central America will get the smartphone in the weeks and months ahead.
The Optimus 4X HD features Nvidia’s 4-PLUS-1Tegra 3 Quad-Core mobile processor, along with 1GB or RAM, and a huge 2,150mAh battery. There is also a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720.
The Optimus 4X HD will also boast LG’s new User Experience (UX), Optimus UI 3.0 on top of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
