LG has just announced that their much awaited Tegra 2 powered Optimus 2x dual core smartphone will be rolled out to key European markets this month. Optimus 2X is currently available in Korea (launched in January) and we are hoping to see the same in India soon (no date or time frame announced yet).Initially, the phone will be powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) and will be upgraded to Gingerbread in the future. The pricing and (carrier) contract information will be announced in respective markets in the near future.
