And Google has surprised us! We knew that the Android event which was supposed to be held tonight was cancelled but the search engine giant has gone ahead and announced the launch of the Nexus 4 smartphone.
As expected the 4.7-inch smartphone arrives with all that we have seen leak a zillion times in the past couple of months. It also runs on a new OS version which is Android 4.2 but is still called Jelly Bean.
The 4.7-inch screen of the LG Nexus 4 arrives with a True HD IPS Plus display is supported by Zerogap Touch technology, the gently curved glass edges allow your finger to slide smoothly on and off the 320ppi screen and is protected by scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

The LG Nexus 4 will be sold unlocked and it will be available to purchase in both an 8GB version and a 16GB version on Google Play starting November 13 in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia.
While the offline availability in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East will begin from the end of November. The Nexus 4 8GB version has been prcied for just $299, and the 16GB version will retail for $349.
We do know that the LG Nexus 4 is arriving in India by November-end. So in a month’s time, the LG Nexus 4 will be available in India.
