Almost a month after the press images of the LG L80 were leaked, the handset is now listed on the official company website in India.
The LG L80,which is part of the LG Series III which also includes the L40, L70 and the L90 that were showcased at the recent MWC 2014, is now listed online on the official LG India website. The phone has a 5 inch display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The phone has dual SIM support with 3G connectivity.
The LG L80 is equipped with a rear facing 5 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The phone runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 2540 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 17500, which seems to be exorbitant considering that most of the Indian manufacturers are offering the exact same specs within the Rs. 7000 range.
