LG has just unveiled its brand new smartphone, the LG Ice Cream Smart, sounds fun, doesn’t it? The smartphone is a flip handset but with all the features of a modern smartphone.
The LG Ice Cream Smart comes with colourful hardware surely aimed at the youth of the country. The flip smartphone comes with a 3.5-inch display of 320x480p resolution and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB RAM. The device packs 8 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion.
On the camera front, there’s an 8 MP rear camera and a VGA camera on the front. The connectivity is well covered on the device with LTE, DMB-TV support in tow. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and it’s powered by a 1700 mAh battery.
The South Korean company had unveiled a flip smartphone last year dubbed LG Wine Smart and the company has once again decided to experiment with the form factor in LG Ice Cream Smart. Let’s see if the fun form factor and the yummy name do any wonders for the device. While we don’t expect the device to make it outside Korea, we’ll let you know if it does.
