With the flagship LG G5 just a few days away from getting unveiled, the retail unit of the handset has surfaced in Dubai.
The yet to be announced LG G5 has been listed for sale by an e-commerce website in Dubai which apparently managed to procure it from the US even before it was announced. Interestingly, the phone is said to have a valid IMEI and is still in its original packaging. Surprisingly, the portal has also listed the price of the handset as $680.
The images seemingly confirm most of the leaks we have heard so far. For starters, we can see the much talked about metal body along with the fingerprint scanner on the back. Not just that, but even the recently rumored dual camera setup is visible. Unfortunately, we could not confirm the secondary ticker display.
The LG G5 is said to have a 5.3 inch Quad HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Also expected is a 16 MP dual rear camera setup and an 8 MP front facing camera. The handset is expected to be announced on February 21 for the upcoming MWC 2016 expo.
