After a couple of leaks suggesting a carrier specific variant of the LG G3 surfaced, LG has now announced the handset but it is definitely not a variant of the LG G3.
The LG G Vista is now official for the Verizon network in the US. The device has a 5.7 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The LG G Vista has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 1.3 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 3200 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $399 off-contract but would be exclusive to Verizon and may not cross the US borders.
