Days after news about a tablet device from LG surfaced, we now have new reports which support the earlier rumours about the device.
According to sources, LG is supposed to begin the production of the G Pad in September with a trial run of 500 prototype devices after which the company is expected to produce around 200000 units per month depending on the demand. The device is expected to sport a massive 8.3 inch display and the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The quad core processor would be supported by a 2 GB RAM.
While rumours claim that the LG G Pad is expected to be launched at IFA 2013 in Berlin which is in September, there is no official communication from LG as yet. The device, which would be the first in the company’s premium G branding, would compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.
