While most of the flagship smartphones have released the Google Play variant featuring stock Android, LG has taken a step ahead and launched the first Google Play Edition tablet, it LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition. This is the same tablet that was earlier reported to be the Nexus 8.
The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition, which is available in Indigo Black colour, has a slim and sleek form factor. While the design and hardware of the device would remain unchanged, the Google Play Edition of tablet runs on the latest Android v4.4 KitKat. The tablet has an 8.3 inch full HD IPS display.
The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
