While LG recently announced that its first curved smartphone – the LG G Flex would be entering the European markets in February, the handset was spotted on sale on an online shopping portal in India.
The LG G Flex, which was unveiled way back in October, was listed on online retail shop SnapDeal.com. We skipped a beat when we saw that the handset was priced at Rs. 69990. The phone is said to be dispatched within 15 business days. However LG has not mentioned any details about the G Flex launch in the country, but given the listing we can expect it over the next few weeks.
The LG G Flex has a design that follows the contour of the face thus reducing the distance between one’s mouth to the microphone when the device is held against the ear and also helps increase voice quality level by 3 dB. The handset has a 6 inch display made of Plastic OLED and is powered by the Snapdragon 800 processor. The smartphone also uses curved battery technology for the 3500 mAh battery which helps reduce the physical stress on the battery due to the curvature.
