LG’s first curved smartphone, the LG G Flex is currently available only in Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore, but the company had announced plans to further expand their markets towards the US and Europe.
The LG G Flex is all set for release in major European markets including the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Austria starting next month. The company also plans to launch the smartphone in the United States with major carriers like AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile later this quarter. The launch in the European region signifies that the device would rollout to other parts of the world soon thereafter.
The LG G Flex is known for its design which is said to follow the curve of the human face. The 6 inch device has the world’s first curved battery. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 GB of RAM. There is also a 13 MP rear facing camera and a 2.1 MP front facing camera.
