The successor the the LG G Flex, aptly dubbed the LG G Flex 2 was unveiled recently at the CES and the device is now all set to hit markets globally. LG has announced that the global rollout of the LG G Flex 2 is starting today.
The LG G Flex 2 will first make its way to major carriers in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany and the U.K. The device will then head to key markets of North and South America, Europe and Asia in the following week of the MWC.
The LG G Flex was a great device but there were some limitations like the low resolution of the display and the huge size but the successor has managed to fix those things. The device has also improved on the self healing feature.
LG’s CEO Juno Chu commented on the roll out, “The G Flex2 shows the world that there’s still room for design innovation in today’s smartphones beyond just metal frames and larger displays. We think the G Flex2 is the perfect example of form and function coming together beautifully. It’s a smartphone that people simply won’t be able to take their eyes off of.”
