While there were several rumours suggesting LG working on a new metal-body smartphone, the company has now officially launched the handset – the LG Class.
LG has announced the launch of the LG Class, which is the company’s latest with full metal body. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with curved glass offering a 3D effect and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The LG Class has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PureCel sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2050 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $340 and is available in Gold, Silver, Blue and Black colour options. Details of global rollout are yet to be revealed.
