IFA is just round the corner and Lenovo has just sent invites for their press events which clearly says what they have in store. Lenovo is about to announce the Vibe X2 at IFA.
Lenovo’s event is on 4th September, the same day when Nokia aka Microsoft Mobile is expected to announce their selfie phone Lumia 730 and 830 and HTC to announce their octa core 64bit Smartphone. What is more interesting to see is the Lolipop picture in the invite which points towards the fact that the Vibe X2 would be powered by Android ‘L’ and may just have reveled the name of next version of Android i.e., “Lolipop”. Of course, until Google confirms the name – even such a revelation by a Google partner cannot be taken as confirmation.
The rumored specification of Lenovo Vibe X2 are:
- 2.2GHz dual-core processor
- 5-inch full-HD touchscreen
- 2GB of RAM
- 32GB inbuilt storage
- 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash
- 5MP front-facing camera
The invitation seems to be inspired from that of Apple’s September 9th event. While Apple says “Wish we could say more”, Lenovo says in similar vibe that “We can’t say anything either”. Nice play there Lenovo.
