Lenovo has just announced that it will be bringing its Tab 2 A7-30 tablets to Indian shores in the coming few days. The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 is the new addition to Lenovo’s budget tablet line-up. Lenovo recently launched the affordable Tab 2 A7-10 in India for Rs. 4,999 and now, the Tab 2 A7-30 makes its way here.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 comes with a 7-inch IPS infinity display of 1024x600p resolution and it’s powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT8382M processor. The tablet comes with 1 GB RAM for your multitasking needs and there are 8 and 16 GB variants along with expansion.
As it’s a tablet, the cameras are modest with the rear packing a 2 MP unit and the front packing a VGA front-facing camera. The device comes with Android 4.4 KitKat but the company confirms that the Lollipop update is incoming.
The USP of the tablet is that it comes with voice calling capabilities and there are two variants, a 2G and a 3G variant. Along with that, it comes with the usual connectivity options. A 3450 mAh battery powers the device.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 will go on sale in India by the end of this month, which means in a couple of days and it’s priced at Rs. 8,500 for the 2G variant and Rs. 11,800 for the 3G variant.
