While we have been recently seeing quite a few wearable devices, Lenovo seems to be prepping its wristband – the Lenovo Smartband SW-B100.
The Lenovo Smartband SW-B100 was spotted on the company’s official website even before the announcement. The device, which is the company’s first fitness tracking device, can be used to track the users regular activities. Further, the band apparently also doubles up as a smart watch and can be integrated with an Android or iOS handset to provide call and SMS notifications.
The Lenovo Smartband SW-B100, which operates on the Android Wear platform, can be used for sleep tracking, heart rate calculation, calories burnt and the usual steps taken and distance covered. The user can customize the notifications and automatically log the data to a computer without having to log in. the device would be compatible with all handset running Android 4.3 or higher and iOS 7.1 or higher.
