While Lenovo has been focusing on the affordable market segment, the company has also released a phone in China in the mid-range segment – the Lenovo K80.
Lenovo has announced the launch of the Lenovo K80, which is the company’s addition to the K series. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 64 bit 1.8 GHz quad core Intel Atom processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Lenovo K80 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with OIS, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 4000 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $290 and is available in Black, White and Red colour options. The device is expected to rollout globally in May.
