Lenovo has just launched the A7-50 Android tablet in India. The tablet was unveiled the Chinese manufacturer in April along with the other devices in the A series and it has finally gone on sale in India.
The Lenovo A7-50 packs in a 7-inch IPS display of 1280x800p resolution and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor with 1 GB RAM. It features 16GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 32 GB.
The tablet features a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is loaded on the device but Lenovo says the tablet will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update. Lenovo also packs in its own customizations in the software and some handy apps such as SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit.
A 3450 mAh battery runs the show and the device comes with dual front speakers with Dolby Digital Plus. The Lenovo A7-50 tablet comes with voice calling and there’s 3G support as well. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Lenovo A7-50 tablet comes in a single Midnight Blue color and it is priced at Rs. 15,499.
