Lenovo, the Chinese manufacturer has announced the Lenovo A6000, a brand new budget smartphone at the CES 2015. Let’s take a detailed look at the device, shall we?
The new budget smartphone seems to be pretty good on paper for a budget smartphone and the addition of 4G LTE support surely makes it a viable offering. The Lenovo A6000 features a 5-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS display and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. There’s 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion.
On the camera front, the A6000 features an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. Android 4.4 KitKat runs the show with the Vibe UI on top. The device features a 2300 mAh battery in tow. The connectivity front is well covered, thanks to 4G LTE support.
The Lenovo A6000 is available in the US for $169 (~ Rs. 10,680) and only comes in a single Black variant. Lenovo has confirmed that the device will be launched as a Flipkart exclusive in India soon and the company has also said that the device will be priced less than YU YUREKA and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G, so that’s certainly good news.
