Days after the ultra-affordable LeEco Le 1s smartphone was announced in India, it finally went on sale today and was sold out in less than 2 seconds.
LeEco has announced that it sold as many as 70000 Le 1s handsets in 2 seconds during the first flash sale held on Flipkart today. The company witnessed a record 6,05,000 registrations for the sale. As such the company boasts of setting three industry records – for the largest number of phones sold out in a single flash sale, the shortest ever time for sale of such a large number of phones, and the highest pre-sale registration number.
LeEco had launched the Le 1s at a very attractive price point of Rs. 10999 and had packed in a 5.5 inch full HD display with slim bezels and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The handset is powered by the octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and is equipped with a 13 MP rear facing camera and front facing 8 MP camera. The next sale would be held on February 9 on Flipkart, registrations for which will begin today at 6 p.m.
