Last week we heard about LeEco working on a flagship smartphone powered by Snapdragon 823 SoC and 8 GB RAM. Now, a mysterious LeEco smartphone has made its appearance on AnTuTu, and, it’s powered by Snapdragon 823 SoC.
The LeEco smartphone that has popped up on AnTuTu carries model number LEX720. It has Qualcomm’s MSM8996pro under the hood which is actually the Snapdragon 823 SoC (also called Snapdragon 821 sometimes). The processor is paired with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.
The tested device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Photography is handled by a 16 MP rear camera along with an 8 MP front camera. The device also has 32 GB of internal storage on offer.
This might not be the Le Max 2 Pro as 4 GB of RAM might look like a downgrade given the fact that the Le Max 2 has 6 GB RAM. Hence, there’s a possibility that this might be Le 2 Pro. There might be other variants as well with more internal storage. Also, the display resolution is lower going by the standards of Le Max lineup as all those devices boast off a display having Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.
We can expect more details to surface online once this device is listed on TENAA.
