Just a day after LeEco unveiled their next-generation premium smartphone offerings, the company seems to be gearing up to launch the handsets in India.
LeEco has sent out press invites for an upcoming launch event scheduled for May 3. While the company doesn’t specifically mention any device, it did add, “Block your date to witness the revolution. Entertainment will play in a whole new way.” – Which hints that the company will unveil the new LeEco smartphones which ditch the 3.5 mm audio jack for a USB Type-C audio port.
LeEco has three new smartphones on offer – the Le 2, the Le 2 Pro and the Le Max 2. All the three handset are powered by MediaTek’s deca core Helio processor and sport a fingerprint scanner on the back. In India, we expect the three handsets to be priced between Rs. 10000 to Rs. 25000 thus competing with the budget and mid-range segment.
