The LeEco Le Max which was launched in India earlier this year is receiving an OTA update. The Le Max gets LeLive and LeEco Membership with this OTA update.
This OTA update bumps up the EUI version on your Le Max to 5.5.014S from 5.5.012S. As we said earlier, this update for Le Max brings LeEco Membership which was introduced with Le 1S Eco earlier this month. Apart from LeEco Membership, it also brings in LeLive.
However, these are not the only features that this OTA update brings in. Fixes for camera, calendar, browser are also included along with some other optimizations. The update is more than 1 GB in size so we suggest you download it using a Wi-Fi connection if possible.
Talking about LeLive, it’s a part of LeEco Membership which offers channels powered by YuppTV with regional content. You need to sign in with your account to be able to watch the channels. If you don’t have an account, signing up doesn’t take more than 5 minutes. You can either sign up with your email ID or your mobile number.
However, those users who are eagerly waiting for the Marshmallow update on their Le Max won’t be much happy with this update as the Android version still remains at 5.0.2 Lollipop. If you are a Le Max user and haven’t received this update, try checking it manually by going to Settings > System update.
