An unknown LeEco device was spotted on GFXBench two weeks ago with Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4 GB RAM. That device was said to be the Le 2S. However, those claims seem to be proved wrong as the Le 2S has now been certified by TENAA with different specifications.
The Le 2S has been listed on TENAA’s website with model number LEX652. It’s powered by MediaTek’s Helio X25 SoC which is coupled with 3 GB RAM and Mali-T880 GPU. The front of the device looks bezel-less and sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD display along with an 8 MP camera above it. Talking about the primary camera, it seems there are two cameras at the back, both of which are 13 MP. There’s also a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device below these dual rear cameras.
At the left side of the device is the SIM card slot, however, there’s no option to insert the microSD card slot, hence, you will have to make do with the 32 GB of internal storage available. If you look at the right side of the device, you will find the volume rocker and power button. You can also see the rear camera protruding.
The device will boot up to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be kept on by a 3900 mAh battery. According to the TENAA listing, the device will be offered in four different colors – gold, silver, pink gold and white.
Now that the Le 2S is certified by TENAA, we expect LeEco to launch it in China soon.
