Back in March, we spotted the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active being listed in the supported device list for Samsung Level app on Google’s Play Store. Now this time, a leaked image is showing off the Galaxy S7 Active in gold color which is being called “desert camo”.
Popular and reliable leakster Evan Blass tweeted “Samsung Galaxy S7 Active for AT&T (SM-G891A) in, um, gold? Let’s call it “desert camo” instead.” He also shared the above shown image with the same tweet. Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy S6 Active, the S7 Active will also be exclusive to AT&T. Going by the home screen, we can expect the device to be officially unveiled on June 10.
A device with similar model number (SM-G891A) was also spotted on GFXBench a couple of days ago. Going by that listing, we can expect the Galaxy S7 Active to be powered by a 2.1 GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor which would be coupled with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It will also have 32 GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy S7 Active might flaunt a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display and would run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Talking about cameras, there would be a 12 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.
Expect more details to surface online till the device is officially unveiled by Samsung.
